Most ERRC teaching programs require a one year commitment to teach university students. Ph.D’s with college teaching experience can sometimes be placed in a single semester course.
Applicants should meet the following criteria to respond:
- The English Teacher Program requires a Bachelor’s Degree, TESOL Certificate, and a relevant Master’s Degree or 2 years professional or teaching experience.
- Minimal requirements for the University Teaching Program are a Master’s Degree (Ph.D preferred) with professional or teaching experience in field of expertise.
FINANCES
Since host institutions provide housing as well as a monthly stipend, financial obligations are minimal. ERRC is committed to helping each teacher identify a sending team that often is delighted to help fund outgoing expenses (insurance, visas, airfare, administration).
All applicants must also be willing to join the ERRC Partnership Team, and be willing to raise funds to cover the cost of partnership in addition to other outgoing expenses.
