With English the global language today, international research forums and conferences are most desirable for Chinese academics to attend. Chinese scientists have been making great strides in science and technology. All that remains is for foreign teachers to come and help bridge the language barrier so Chinese scientists can share their findings with their international colleagues and join the scientific community in full.

The host institute will provide a free furnished apartment on campus. Reimbursement for international airfare is available for candidates committing to one semester with the host institute. Monthly stipends are more than sufficient for living in China.

All Positions are in the major cities and leading universities, mainly along the China’s eastern coastline Classes are comprised of Ph.D level science and technology majors consisting of 25 students involving 12 hours lecture maximum per week. Semester or term positions may be available.

Applicants should meet the following criteria to respond:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree with teaching experience or TESL certificate. Candidates with science/technology master’s degree or higher are preferred. Should be a mature Christian in excellent health with good people skills. Debt-free. Fluent English speaker. Strong in oral English, reading, or writing. Team player.
• Fundamental knowledge of lesson planning will be required, although ERRC does provide some curriculum development resources and ERRC will provide a TESL curriculum guide to aid in lesson planning.
