TEACH LITERATURE/CULTURE IN CHINA
As English has grown as a base for international knowledge, the Chinese have found one of the best ways to understand Western civilization is to dialogue about Western literature. In particular, students and universities have discovered the cornerstone influence of the Bible on the literature and social traditions of the West and they seek foreign teacher’s involvement. This is a unique opportunity to explore fascinating discussions with Chinese students who come to the text from a non-Western background and system of interpretation.
The host institute will provide a free furnished apartment on campus. Reimbursement for international airfare for completion of full year. Monthly stipends are more than sufficient for living in China.
All Positions are in the major cities and leading universities, mainly along the China’s eastern coastline. Most classes are 45 students with teaching assignments involving maximum 12 hours lecture time per week.
Semester or term positions may be available
